ABA Services in Montana

Finding support after an autism diagnosis can feel overwhelming. If you are searching for ABA services in the Livingston and Belgrade area, you are not alone, and you do not have to figure this out by yourself.

At Arrows Behavior Academy, we work with children and families using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in ways that are clear, supportive, and built around real life. Your child receives an individualized treatment plan with goals for skill development and reducing challenging behaviors, and we collaborate with parents, school staff, and other care providers so progress can carry into everyday routines.

What ABA Services Are and How They Help

ABA stands for Applied Behavior Analysis. ABA focuses on teaching skills and supporting behavior change through evidence-based strategies. For many families, ABA is used to help with areas like communication, daily living skills, learning readiness, and reducing behaviors that may interfere with growth at home, at school, or in the community.

If you are new to ABA, it is normal to have questions. A good ABA program should feel structured, but also human. You should understand the goals, why they matter, and how progress is measured over time.

Individualized Treatment Plans Built Around Your Child

Every child receives an individualized treatment plan that includes:

  • Behavior reduction goals (when needed)
  • Skill development goals

Our goal is to work in close collaboration with parents, school staff, and other care providers to help your child succeed in all environments. This keeps everyone aligned, reduces confusion, and helps your child experience consistent support.

Communication and Coordination of Care

Progress often happens faster when the full team is on the same page. At Arrows, we work with your entire team of caregivers to support progress across the areas that matter most in your child’s life.

This may include communication between:

  • Parents and guardians
  • School staff (when appropriate)
  • Other care providers involved in your child’s support

Parent and Caregiver Coaching

Parents and caregivers should not be left guessing.

Our parent coaching includes 1:1 sessions with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who will help guide you and your child through:

  • Communication development
  • Behavior reduction strategies
  • Parent coaching is a practical way to help you feel more confident and connected as your child progresses through treatment.

Who You Will Work With: BCBAs and RBTs

When you start ABA services, you will usually hear credentials that may be new to you. Here is what they mean in plain language.

What is a BCBA?

A BCBA is a professional with a master’s degree and specialized training in Applied Behavior Analysis. BCBAs are responsible for assessment, program development, parent coaching, and ongoing supervision and support.

What is an RBT?

An RBT is a professional who has completed a 40-hour training course and a certification examination. RBTs work closely with the BCBA and provide much of the direct, day-to-day support with your child.
